Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has seen the children developing their knowledge and skills through various interactive learning opportunities.  The learning this week consisted of practical activities outside of the classroom, engaging learning opportunities inside the classroom and a visit fom Josh Reynolds, the MP for Maidenhead.

This week the children have been involved in various activities for Science Week.  During their PE lessons, the children were developing their foam javelin technique and then analysing what factors influence how far a foam javelin travels when thrown.  In the following science lesson, the children then analysed the data and discussed what factors influence how far the foam javelin travelled.

In RE, the focus was on exploring the concept of forgiveness in the parables of Jesus.  The children produced some excellent work and they all contributed to some really positive class discussions.

In their Reading lessons, the children were looking at poems and how they are constructed.  They all worked very hard on developing their individual poems.  Some of the children volunteered to perform their poem and they performed extremely well.
