Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all well.
This week the children have all engaged in various learning activities in and outside of the classroom.
In History the children researched various Saints that lived during the Anglo-Saxon period. After researching the different Saints, the children presented their findings to the class.
This week the children started studying a new book called Frindleswylde. The learning activities focussed on forming opinions and learning to structure dialogue.
In Science the children conducted experiments with magnets and then analysed the data and presented their conclusions.
In their Reading lessons, the children have started looking at a new book called The Lost Spells. The children were developing their understanding of how to structure questions to deepen their understanding of the text.
In preparation for next week, in Religious Education the children looked at developing their understanding of the Stations of the Cross.
Next week the children will again been engaged in lots of learning activities in and outside of the classroom. They will have the opportunity to plant seeds for Eco Week and further develop their castle structures in Design and Technology. The children have also been very busy this week practising their parts for the Stations of the Cross event taking place next week.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Kind regards,
Mr Mackintosh
