    Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has seen the children involved in numerous interactive learning opportunities in and outside of the classroom.

In Art the children walked around the school site looking for natural objects with different pigmentation and used these to create patterns and shapes.

The focus at the end of the week for English was the Big Write.  The children used all the writing skills they had learnt in the past two weeks and wrote their own script.  The script had to related to the book they are studying and pick out key points from the story.  The children produced some excellent imaginative scripts.

This half term the in History the children are looking at how education and life generally has changed for children during different periods in time.  This week the content focussed on the Victorian period and the children produced some excellent research work with the focus on different jobs children undertook during the Victorian period.

The children have all worked very hard this week and produced some excellent work across all curriculum areas.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and thank you for your continued support.

    Kind regards,

    Mr Mackintosh
