Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Programme

The children have started their journey with the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Programme - week one of the programme started during the week commencing 11th September 2023. They are learning four new GPCs each week through lively short lessons. The children are learning to orally blend in every lesson and we play an oral blending game every day.

We have sent home the Autumn 1 term home learning sheets, so that you know where your child is in their learning and you can even use these to practise at home. Your child now has a log in for the Collins eBooks and will be allocated a new book each week. The eBook log in information has been sent home, so if you have difficulty logging into the eBook programme or do not have access to an electronic device and need a physical book instead, please let us know.

Phonics resources are always available within the continuous provision and the children really enjoy taking on the role of  the Teacher and teaching phonics to their friends.
