Week 1

Library-Year 1 took a lovely stroll down to the public library in Maidenhead. We had a tour and a talk from the librarian who told us about fiction and non-fiction books. Then we had some time to choose our own books and read together. A wonderful way to start the day!

Counting in 10’s Year 1 have been learning to count in 10’s (an introduction to the 10 times table!) pop the balloons to fill the train with the missing 10’s!

We have been looking at Basket Ball. we have been bouncing balls using different hands, and bounce passing to each other. Catching is also very important.

Design and Technology

WE ARE SEWING.

We have learnt how to weave our needle in and out.

IGGY PECK

While the Year ones ventured to the Library, the Year 2's discovered the world of Architecture. We designed our very own structures using straws and masking tape.
