BREAKING NEWS! Something crashed in our playground over the weekend so of course we went out to investigate! We found the crash site as well as a yellow egg, some fluff and some footprints leading away. We thought about questions and came up with a wide range such as:

"What happened?"

"Where did it come from?"

"Why is it here?"

"Is it a spaceship?"

"What was inside the egg?"

"Should we touch it?"

We then went inside to write down our questions, focussing carefully on the use of a question mark. We can't wait to find out what has actually happened!

Maths

This week, we moved onto looking at 3D shapes and spoke about the differences we could see from the 2D shapes we looked at last week. We went on a 3D shape hunt around the classroom and found lots of objects that were shapes we could name. We then explored which 3D shapes were best to build with and which were not depending on their properties.
