Stations of the Cross 2026
On Wednesday 25th March, the whole school community came together to celebrate Stations of the Cross. This was a chance to recognise and reflect on Jesus' last journey, with stations enacted by each class. It was also an opportunity to demonstrate 'Faith in action' and the Catholic Social Teaching key of 'option for the poor and vulnerable' as each station had a modern day reflection about communities who may be struggling.
The children were encourage to donate money which will be given to St Joseph's chosen charity 'Ilung Community Secondary School’. The school lacks any basic infrastructure; classrooms are made of wood, there is no electricity, no water supply, no computers – the list of challenges is long. Additionally, many students cannot afford the school fees. The money raised will help support them.
