Week 6 and we have finished the week feeling very happy after enjoying our marble treat this afternoon. Just before that, we had great fun playing basketball in teams and taking part in a "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes, Five Sit-ups" warm-up, which made the children laugh.

We have now completed our RE topic for this term, and the children have worked very hard discussing and reflecting on the Ten Commandments and how they can put these teachings into practice in their own lives through the Common Good.

In History, we looked at Maidenhead during Victorian times and created a super poster which included information about jobs, schools, houses and shops. We also enjoyed looking at old photographs and seeing how the High Street has changed over the decades.

In Science, we explored the different ways plants reproduce through asexual reproduction, and there are some beautifully colourful drawings of these processes in the children's books.

In Maths, Year 5 are getting to grips with factors and prime numbers, while Year 6 have just started learning about fractions.

Have a lovely weekend. I am sure you are all looking forward to a four-day week next week! 😊
