    End of Week 3

What a warm and sunny week it has been!

In Art, the children enjoyed creating more self-portraits, but this time they used their photographs, cutting them up and arranging them across the page. They then intertwined paint between the images to express their personalities. There were lots of bright colours used and a wonderful range of designs. Super work, everyone!

In PE, we had great fun once again with our energetic warm-ups, challenging one another to be the first and howling with laughter together. After that, we practised our defensive skills in readiness for games such as netball and basketball.

In English, we have continued to learn about our grey-blue fox, Miso, and just how far she has travelled through the Arctic Circle. The story is really starting to come alive now, and we are wondering just how far she will go and whether the research team will ever catch up with her before it is too late.

The Ten Commandments have been the focus of our learning in RE this week. We have explored how we might adapt the wording to reflect our lives today while still ensuring they continue to follow God's commands.

Another week of hard work from UJ3, and their books are really starting to show just how much effort is being put into every lesson. Well done, everyone. Keep it up!

Have a wonderful weekend, and hopefully the warm sunshine we have enjoyed this week will continue to shine on us all.
