Upper Junior 1 has started the new term with great determination and hard work. They have been reading 'The Fox and the Star' and have created their own guides to friendship. 

We have also thought about the talents and attributes that we bring to a class.

In keeping with the star theme, we have looked at Van Gogh's 'Starry Night' and created our own versions.

In English, we have explored figurative language and written poetry and our own stories.

We have also completed census work in history.

During maths have looked at place value within bigger numbers.

Our new RE work started by discussing the school mission statement and then we focused on what happiness is.
