Another busy week in UJ3!
We have continued to focus on covenants in RE, exploring the promises made between Moses, God and the children of Israel. The children enjoyed writing diaries from Moses’ perspective, imagining what he may have thought and felt during these important events.
PE has been lots of fun as we have been using beach balls to learn Kin-Ball. The children have also been developing their catching skills while travelling around the space.
In Art, we created personality portraits, where phrases and words that describe us are written around our faces and necks. It was lovely to read all the wonderful ways the children in UJ3 describe themselves and to see their personalities shine through their artwork.
Lifecycles is our topic in Science. We began by learning about the lifecycle of a dog and then compared it with the lifecycles of blue whales, hedgehogs and kangaroos. The children enjoyed spotting the similarities and differences between these fascinating animals.
